Four new agtech startups have joined Western Growers Center for Innovation & Technology, in diverse technological areas: Alta Energy, POWERGROW, Grower's Secret, and Sigfox. Alta Energy empowers enterprises to deploy renewable energy in a simplified manner. POWERGROW is harnessing the power of renewable energy and greenhouse system optimization to change the way we feed the world. Sigfox is a French company that builds wireless networks to connect low-energy objects such as electricity meters, smartwatches, and washing machines, which need to be continuously on and emitting small amounts of data.
