May is National Salad Month! The Western Growers Center for Innovation & Technology (WGCIT) is celebrating National Salad Month in a variety of ways. On May 1, the agtech startups toured D’Arrigo Bothers to learn more about Andy Boy fresh products. During the visit, a dozen of our agtech startups joined D’Arrigo’s operations team, lead by Daniel de Lorimier, for a tour of the cooler, loading dock, and check-in office. It was very beneficial to see how a grower-shipper the size of D’Arrigo handles cooling and staging orders.
