May and June will be busy months, as the Western Growers Center for Innovation & Technology companies gear up for the Forbes AgTech Summit in Salinas on June 26-27, 2019. Here are a few upcoming events for Center residents and sponsors to note:
- May 7: Food Safety in Agriculture – Hosted by the Silicon Valley Business Journal
- May 8: Culinary Institute of America, Napa, student delegation visiting the Center in Salinas at 6pm, to learn about agtech, food tech, and food safety. The group will be hosted by Dennis Donohue, director of the WGCIT, and Mark Linder, business development for WGCIT startup, Agralogics.
- May 15: Deadline to complete the survey to participate in the Western Growers Showcase at the Forbes AgTech Summit in June, with comped exhibit space: Survey Here
- May 16: Dennis Donohue hosting the next Grower Trial Network event in Santa Maria, CA. (Details TBD)
- May 21: Resident Work Day at the Center & Field Tour with Steinbeck Country Produce, Salinas, CA. (Details TBD)
- June 26-27: Forbes AgTech Summit, Salinas City Center – Register Now
