GUEST BLOG: Lightning Learning Labs Goes GeoVisual

Last week, I gave an overview of our crop monitoring and yield forecasting technology during one of the PMA Tech Knowledge "Lightning Learning Labs." During the Labs, entrepreneurs were each given 7 minutes to present their solutions and field questions from the audience—and we loved every minute of it.
It was a great chance to get in front of potential customers and other entrepreneurs, give them a taste of what we're offering and get immediate feedback. The audience asked good questions, and several folks came up afterwards to continue the discussion. This included other startups with complementary technology. Increasingly, we are seeing opportunities in teaming with other new companies.
In addition to presenting at the Lightning Learning Lab, we showed a video demo of our capabilities in the TerrAvion booth in the Tech Knowledge Learning Lounge. We are teaming up with TerrAvion, another WGCIT resident company, to offer aerial imagery and analytics to fresh produce growers in California and beyond. TerrAvion showed examples of their imagery and spoke with show attendees about the many advantages of having frequent, high resolution aerial coverage of their fields.
