Grower Trial Network Heads to Yuma from Salinas

Posted on February 26, 2019 15:08 PM by elyons

Western Growers’ Grower Trial Network has hit California and Arizona by storm! On February 19, Western Growers Center for Innovation & Technology held its second Grower Trail Network meeting, where 30 growers and agtech start-up companies gathered at the Center in Salinas to collaborate on the types of technologies possible for deployment in the field. Shortly after, the Grower Trail Network headed to Yuma where nearly 10 startups met with Sean Duncan of Duncan Family Farms to receive feedback on how to quickly and efficiently bring their technology from development to market.

The Grower Trail Network is an organized group of WG members who will be trialing and evaluating technology coming out of the Center. The purpose of this new initiative is to accelerate the development of technology that will help solve ag’s most pressing issues.
